Are towels, sheets and other linens included in the rental ?
Sheets and other household linen are included. We leave a duvet for each bed.
If you want to bring your own household linen for some reason, please let us know.
Can I take my cat or dog with me ?
Small pets are allowed. So you can take your little friend with you. However, they should not be allowed on the sofas or in the bedrooms. They have a large terrace at their disposal.
I broke something, what can I do ?
If during the stay, there is an incident, a lack, a broken object, or any other inconvenience, it is preferable to contact the owner to resolve the problem amicably.
Why should I rent "La Maysou" ?
La Maysou is a unique rural-style house in the heart of the Priorat region, fully equipped to the latest standards. It can accommodate up to eight people.
It will delight you, whether you come for wine tourism, to enjoy the nature and landscapes, to discover the art and culture of the region or simply to spend some time with family and friends.
I am driving to the site, is it easy to park and unload?
You can load or unload your belongings in front of the house, parking for a few minutes. Once unloaded, it is advisable to park in front of the house in Calle Progres, where there are plenty of spaces available, just a few metres from the house.
What facilities are available in the accommodation?
The accommodation is fully equipped.
You will have access to wifi via fibre optics, the rooter is located in the living room with the access keys clearly visible.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, ceramic hob, toaster, nespresso coffee machine, fridge, freezer, kitchen utensils, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and basic cleaning products.
The jacuzzi on the terrace is available to guests. It has a large capacity and will be filled and cleaned on arrival. The ON/OFF switch is positioned against the wall of the house next to the jacuzzi. The temperature is set directly on the rim of the hot tub using the timer.
The drain valve is located under the terrace and accessible but you should not need it as we will keep it clean and level throughout your stay.
The barbecue is also available to guests, a pack of new or used charcoal is left as a courtesy. If you wish to use it regularly, you will need to buy your own charcoal.
We also provide a baby bed, bottle warmer, playpen, high chair and soup mixer. Please let us know in advance so that we can leave the equipment at your disposal.
If you have any questions or need help, Grégory, the owner, is available by phone. Even if he is not physically available in the village, a person living in Masroig will be available to listen to you and to come to the house.
Is the home well heated ?
In the kitchen you will find a wood-burning stove. The cut wood is left at the disposal of the guest.
The floors are heated by the reversible air conditioning.
How does the handover work?
For the arrival, the keys are handed over between 4pm and 7pm, to be agreed with the owner directly.
After payment of the deposit of 100€ in cash, the keys will be given to you for the duration of your stay.
The deposit is returned at the end of the stay if nothing has been damaged.
For the departure, the keys must be returned between 9am and 12pm.
It is best to confirm arrival and departure times 30 minutes in advance.
How can I pay the rental ?
You can pay directly from our website through our secure payment platform "stripe", or by bank transfer upon receipt of our booking offer for long term rentals or others (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Is there a cleaning service ?
After your departure, we will clean and disinfect the house completely for the next tenants.
To make this easier for us, we ask you to return the house in a similar condition to the one you found it in.
How can I change or cancel my booking?
You must write to us at the contact email in order to detail the reason for the modification or cancellation.
Once the reservation is validated, it is non-refundable except for compelling reasons that can be justified by the client.

What are the rental seasons?
High season : Easter and Christmas holidays according to the Spanish calendar, then from the 1st of July to the 15th of September.
Low season : other periods.
How to access the wine cellar ?
The rental of the wine cellar and accessories includes a deposit of 50 €. The amount of the bottles consumed by the client is settled at the end of the stay in cash or directly on our website.
We work in the wine world and therefore attach great importance to wines. As the house is located in a large wine-growing region, we have put together a selection of wines for you to choose from.
The list of wines and the corresponding prices can be found on our website in "Activities" -> "Wine".
What is the wine selection ?
We give priority to local wines but you will also find a selection of international wines. We are aware that if our tenant is a wine enthusiast, after a day of wine touring in the Priorat, he may want to discover a lighter international wine or a champagne for example.
Our selection varies according to the time of year and contains between 10 and 50 references defined by the sommelier, with several bottles of each label, and appropriate purchase prices for each. It's like having a wine shop in your home.
I am a great wine lover, can you advise me?
We are sommeliers by profession. You can have a look at the wine list and if you wish to taste specific wines, we can provide you with a personalised selection. It is important to inform us by e-mail a few days before your arrival so that we can place the wines in the cellar before your arrival.

I am new to wine, can you recommend some references?
You can contact us by e-mail or WhatsApp if you have any doubts or need advice and explanations about the wines available, for example for wine and food pairing.

I didn't like a wine, can I get my money back?
Unfortunately, if the wine has no defect (cork taint or other), we are not able to refund you. We try to have a wide selection of both price and style of wine so that there is something for everyone.
If a bottle does have a defect, please send it to the sommelier to be checked. This is not a common occurrence but it can happen.
I really liked a wine, I want more bottles to drink during my stay or to take home.
You can buy bottles from the cellar to take home. However, for a better stock management, we would prefer that you contact us directly to bring you a new stock if possible. We remain attentive to any specific request.
What equipment is available for the wines?
The wines are kept in a cellar at storage temperature (14/16°C). We provide our customers with a bottle opener, a cooling tank for your bottles, the appropriate glassware, a carafe, etc.
What can I do around here ?
There are many activities to do in the area. You can follow the wine route to discover the wineries of Montsant and Priorat, go kayaking on the Els Guiamets water reserve, discover the local heritage on walks with stunning views or enjoy the beach or Port Aventura with friends.

How do I get around the vineyards and paths?
We offer for rent a 4X4 Suzuki Jimny convertible (4 seats). It will allow you to move around the Priorat in complete peace of mind on any type of terrain.
We also offer two electrically assisted bicycles to enjoy the roads and landscapes without effort.

What sports are available in the region?
You will have the opportunity to practice many sports and for all levels.
From climbing in Montsant to kayaking on the Ebro, walking in cheveal, accrobranche, golf within 20 minutes, tennis or padel in Falset or Mora d'Ebre.
There is also a football and basketball field in the village and the municipal swimming pool nearby.
Just outside the house, there are a multitude of signposted walks, which can be done by bike or by trekking.
How is the weather in El Masroig ?
Summers are very hot in one of the hottest villages in the Priorat. In winter, there are beautiful sunny days but very cool nights. The best seasons are spring and autumn.
How far in advance should I book my wine or nature activities?
In order to be as relaxed as possible, we would prefer to set up your activities a few weeks before your arrival.
However, if you wish to book an activity at the last minute, please contact us directly to ensure its feasibility.
If you have to cancel an activity due to illness or other reasons, we will refund you or offer you a new date if possible.
I have booked an activity via the website, how can I set the date?
Once your order has been validated, the Priorat Experiencia team will contact you to arrange a date according to your requirements and those of the service providers.
